WHY?
🤔 The last few weeks can shake a foundation to it's core. We, humans, cannot understand why things happen the way they do.
❓Why do some people die and others survive?
❓Why are some prayers answered and others prayers feel ignored?
❓Why do some parents kill their unborn babies or traffic them and other loving families left childless?
❓Why is there so much unforgiveness and hate for people who don't have the same opinions?
💔My heart breaks for those left in a hopeless world. Where sin and devastation are the norm. Left to navigate the storms on their own strength.
🙌I'm here to tell you, friends, there is hope in Jesus. He's not a cliche. He's not a feel good feeling when you need it. He's not here to validate your sin but to wash it away. He's the ONLY way to eternal life.
💬He understands your struggles. Lean on Him to get you through. Sometimes He carries you. Sometimes He needs you to grow through it. Sometimes He just needs you to learn to trust Him.
🥳 He also wants to celebrate with you when life is great! In all things, He wants to be with you. Not just be the "cleanup man" when you mess up.
⚠️It's important that we, as Christians, also show God's love to others even when they don't deserve it. Spoiler alert: NONE OF US DESERVE IT.
🎺Rejoice with others when times are great! Mourn with those who are struggling.
REAL LIFE
💅While getting a pedicure today, I noticed the lady serving me had been crying. With her red, swollen eyes I gently grabbed her arm and asked if she was ok. Her eyes welled up with tears. She bravely tried to reassure me that she was fine. I pulled her close and hugged her tight. I told her, "I didn't know what is going on right now but I promise you, it's going to be ok. I don't know what you believe in but Jesus loves you and he hears your cries."
🤗 She hugged me, cried and thanked me.
🫂 I don't know what is going on in her life right now but, even though I was celebrating my answered prayers in finding my bag, I took time to mourn with someone who was struggling.
🥰This story is to encourage you to recognize the needs in others. We're all fighting a battle no one knows about. Be kinder than necessary and show the love of Jesus in everything!
🎉Celebrate that the enemy didn't take Trump's life.

🎶Sing praises that Jesus welcomed another brother home.
☁️Just remember, our identity resides in our Creator. Our Heavenly Father who loved us so much, He sent His son to die for us so we could spend eternity with Him.
🎁 It's a gift freely given but we also have the ability to reject it and spend eternity separated from our life source.
📖 Get in the Word. Read the greatest love story ever told... FYI YOU are the recipient of that message. You have a purpose in the Kingdom. Seek Him and He will show you THE way.
