We are created to worship our Creator, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Not a day goes by that songs aren't playing. Commercial jingles, radio stations, background music in TV shows, kids memorizing important information like the alphabet.
Music is in our DNA.
John 4:23 CSB
[23] But an hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth. Yes, the Father wants such people to worship him.
Whether you can sing, dance, clap, play a musical instrument, we can win any war through our worship. It can lift our spirits.
It can also create emotions of anger and anxiety.
What we listen to and sing about matters. It really, really matters.
Psalm 100:1-5 ESV
[1] Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! [2] Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! [3] Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. [4] Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! [5] For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
